I have been wanting to do one of these end-of-year posts for a couple years now. Putting this together was much more interesting than I thought it would be. I thought it would just take a long time and be kinda tedious. Blogging a wedding itself takes me about 3 hours, and the thought of putting together highlights from my 2013 weddings meant it would take days! I got to remember these people, and how different all of my couple’s personalities are from each other. The one thing they have in common is that they are all nuts about one another, their families and their friends. That is what’s most important. Those of you who have chosen me to photograph your wedding already know this: I don’t care if you are having your wedding in a barn or in a ballroom. I don’t care if it’s in a golden afternoon during the fall, or in the darkness of winter. All I care about is a connection between you and your partner, and then the connection we have as a team. I really tried to focus on that this past year, and it made such a positive difference in the way I approach a wedding day. You were able to do you, while I was able to do me. Thank you to all of my current and past clients for letting me into your lives this year, and letting me know just a little more about you. This year is going to be awesome.
