Oh man! This post took f o r e v e r to make. It’s not short. This year was wild. I photographed 30 awesome weddings that brought me to some cool places but more importantly to really cool people. I say it often, but I never thought I’d be doing this. I never thought that I would be able to do this. It’s definitely what I always wanted in my life. I wanted to be a photographer. It’s turned into so SO much more than that. The picture-taking part of this business is such a small percentage of what we do as self-employed wedding photographers. We don’t take full days off. Our work is never “left at the office”. Sometimes we iron a groom’s shirt. I couldn’t tell you how many ties I tied this year, how many boutonnieres I pinned. I even did one of my bride’s hair.
What I love most about my job is making people happy. As long as my clients are happy, I am happy. I cannot express with words how happy all of you made me this year. The following photographs are not a “best of” or a selection of 1 photograph from each wedding. It’s a collection of photos in the format that I regularly blog, as a wedding day unfolds. I hope you enjoy it!
