Stephanie & Sam were married last month at a private home in Sargentville, Maine. Where is Sargentville? Wicked far! It’s 4.5 hours north of Boston, but REALLY close to where I grew up. Sam grew up on Deer Isle and they met in San Francisco where they both live now. I arrived on Friday night for their rehearsal dinner lobster bake and a few quick portraits down by the water. I’ve photographed 8 rehearsal dinners this year, and none in previous years. It’s been awesome getting to know the friends and families of my couples the night before!

Stephanie is a SUPER TALENTED designer. She hand made pretty much everything you see below. Right down to the gold labels on the disposable cameras. I loved that she did that. A little throwback with a modern touch. I also love that they incorporated their pets’ silhouettes in pretty much everything! Thank you Stephanie & Sam for having me. Congratulations!
