Elaine & Jay were married last month at the Hampshire House in Back Bay with a reception at Hei La Moon in Chinatown. It’s so relaxing to be around two people who are so comfortable being themselves with each other. They love beer, so naturally they had to have a beer tasting table that had 8 (!!!) beers made by them as well as a couple homemade wines. My favorite part of their ceremony was as they exchanged rings, instead of the traditional “with this ring…” they said to each other “It’s dangerous to go alone! Take this.” A few months ago I posted on Facebook about how pumped I was to see some incoming traffic to my website from Reddit.com, and Elaine commented saying she linked to me there. Finding out one of my brides is a fellow redditor, along with the beer table, *and* the Zelda reference during their ceremony made them some of my favoite people to work with! Elaine and Jay, congratulations and thank you for having me along to document your day. polaroid boston weddingbride getting ready at back bay hotelbride getting ready at back bay hotelbride getting ready at back bay hotelbride getting dress on back bay hoteljohn Hancock building back bayhampshire house and boston trolleybride walking down aisle hampshire househampshire house weddinghampshire house weddinghampshire house weddinghampshire house weddinghampshire house cocktail hourhampshire housebridesmaids on stairsback bay bride and groom portraitsback bay bride and groom portraitsback bay bride and groom portraitsback bay bride and groom portraitsback bay bride and groom portraits pouring rainbeer tasting hei la moonfirst dance hei la moonfirst dance hei la moonwedding reception hei la moon bostoncake cuttingwedding reception hei la moon bostonhei la moon receptiongroom admiring his ring!bouquet toss bride and groom dancingbride and groom dancing
