Darcy & Doreen are my people. That’s something me and my friends say when we think that a couple is AWESOME and a perfect fit for us to work with. Upon my arrival at HobKnob in Edgartown, I spotted them immediately. Decked out in linen outfits. “So vineyard,” I told them, they laughed. They live in Florida, but wanted to escape to one of their favorite places – Martha’s Vineyard – to elope. I climbed into the back of their friend’s jeep, like the trunk, not the back seat, and we zipped down to the beach, overlooking Edgartown Lighthouse.

The ceremony was quick and sweet, and we had perfectly overcast skies (it poured the rest of the weekend). I had been driving around earlier in the day, and I spotted a giant field of Queen Anne’s Lace (one of my favorites!) and thought out loud “I wonder if I can get them to jump this fence later!”. They didn’t hesitate, and we drove up to find it.

Darcy & Doreen, thank you so much for having me at your sweet wedding. I am so lucky that I get to meet people like you, doing what I love to do most.
