It’s such a treat when clients want to venture up into the mountains for their engagement session. It was both Katie & Dillon’s first time to New Hampshire so I wanted to take them to a few of my favorite spots. We ran short on light because I GOT LOST trying to find Glen Ellis falls, and had to phone a friend. How embarrassing! But also kind of hilarious. I’d never been there, and was unaware of the “tunnel”. I did end up being able to take them to my favorite little footbridge by the Davis Path. They were fully prepared for a White Mountain experience and Katie even donned gaiters for the snowy hike down to the falls. Thanks for making the trek up, you two! Excited for your wedding next year!
Michelle & Luke
Michelle & Luke were married this summer at the St. Catherine of Genoa Parish in Somerville, followed by a party at Commonwealth Cambridge. It was so much fun making our way from the church to the restaurant stopping at all of their favorite spots (including the site of their first date, Somerville Theater!) for photos. I’ve loved working with the staff at Commonwealth a handful of times over the last couple of years. Thank you for having me, Michelle & Luke!
Congratulations!
Caroline & Tom
Caroline & Tom were married this summer at the beautiful John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum. This place had definitely the coolest ceremony backdrop I’ve ever seen! Thank you to the team who made this day run so smooth, especially Gabrielle Stone of Stone Event Planning! She kept us all on top of things. Special thanks to my pal Brent for shooting alongside me on this day, some of his shots you’ll see below.
Congratulations Caroline & Tom!
Sara & Jeff
Sara & Jeff were married this summer at the Marble House Project in Dorset, Vermont. I’ve seen a lot of venues over the last 10 years of shooting weddings, but I’ve never seen a place like this. It was such a pleasure to be a part of their day! Thanks to Peter for shooting alongside me on this one. A bunch of his photos are below as well!
Congratulations Sara & Jeff!
Julie & Max
Julie & Max were married earlier this summer at one of my favorite wedding venues, the West Mountain Inn, in Arlington, VT! One of the most emotional ceremonies of all my years doing weddings was followed by a surprise dance coordinated by what looked like every guest in the wedding. Not sure how they pulled that one off! It was such a fun day to be a part of, thanks for having me Julie & Max. And, congratulations!
Colleen & Matt
Colleen and Matt were married at the Mount Washington Hotel up in Crawford Notch which is in the heart of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Their wedding was one of my favorite fall weddings to date! I never got around to blogging their wedding last year and I kept wanting to, but it felt weird posting it in any other season but the one we’re currently in. So I waited! Now that it’s finally the second best season of the year and the leaves are officially in peak color up in Whites, I figured that it was time. Enjoy!
Alexandra & Shawn
Alexandra & Shawn were married earlier this summer at the Topnotch Resort in Stowe, Vermont. I spend about half of my season in the beautiful state of Vermont, and am always happy to be able to work in such a peaceful place! A special thank you to my pal Peter who has second shot a lot for me this season, you’ll see some of his images featured below.
Congratulations Alexandra & Shawn!
Jen & Aaron
Jen & Aaron were married earlier this year at one of my favorite venues, the West Mountain Inn! Even though it poured most of the day, they still wanted to do everything outside, which I loved of course. The grounds are so beautiful, how could you not! Luckily, the rain let up just before the ceremony! Congratulations Jen & Aaron!
Danielle & Sam
Danielle & Sam were married at one of my favorite wedding venues, Migis Lodge. Migis has such a beautiful setting in the middle of the woods of Maine, on a peaceful lake.
Congrats to Danielle & Sam, Enjoy!
