I’m Alexandra, a documentary elopement and wedding photographer based in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I photograph small weddings, elopements, and intimate celebrations for people who want the day to feel like them — not like a production.
The White Mountains are home for me. I know these places as more than a backdrop. I know how fast the weather can change, how different the light feels in a notch versus on a ridge, and how much better a day can feel when it is planned around the actual rhythm of the mountains instead of a rigid timeline.
Elopements here do not have to mean a huge hike or some epic, performative adventure. They can, of course. But they can also be a quiet ceremony at an overlook, vows by a lake, a small gathering at an inn, portraits in the fog, a backyard dinner with your closest people, or a simple day built around a place you already love.

I photograph elopements throughout the White Mountains and northern New Hampshire, including North Conway, Jackson, Gorham, Randolph, Franconia Notch, Crawford Notch, Bethlehem, Littleton, Mount Washington Valley, and the surrounding areas.
Some couples want a full backcountry day. Some want a short walk to a beautiful view. Some want a small ceremony with family and a dinner after. Some want to get legally married in a simple, quiet way and spend the rest of the day outside.
There is no one right version of an elopement. The good ones usually feel honest, relaxed, and rooted in place.

A lot of the couples I work with are drawn to the mountains, but not because they want their wedding day to feel like a photo shoot. They want the place to matter. They want photographs that show the landscape, the weather, the people, and the feeling of actually being there.
My approach is documentary, with enough guidance to help you feel comfortable. I’ll help with timing, light, location ideas, and logistics, but I’m not here to turn your elopement into a styled shoot. I care more about the real stuff — muddy hems, wind, fog, nervous laughter, family FaceTimes, trail snacks, wet boots, a quiet minute after vows, and the way the day actually felt.

Getting married in the White Mountains comes with a little bit of unpredictability, which is honestly part of the beauty of it. Weather changes quickly. Trails can be busier than expected.
