Carolyn & Eric’s White Mountains Adventure Elopement

Carolyn & Eric decided to elope on the Ridge of the Caps, just below of the summit of Mt. Jefferson in the Presidential Range of the White Mountains. This ridge is one of my favorite places in the Whites, probably in my top 5! It’s one of the most amazing places to watch the sunset, so you can imagine how thrilled I was when they chose to get married as the sun went down. We began their day at a hotel in Lincoln where they got ready together, and made PB&J’s before packing up to head out. We climbed the 2000′ or so to treeline, and picked out our spot. Once changed, Carolyn’s sister performed the ceremony on the 3rd “cap” (my favorite cap)! Once the ceremony concluded we spent some time playing in the alpine before capping off the day with maple syrup shots and heading back down to the car.

Afternoons like this are some of my favorites. Congratulations Carolyn & Eric!
