Zoë & Dodge’s Sky Meadow Wedding | Randolph, NH

Every once in a while I get to photograph a wedding that feels a little extra special, and this was definitely one of them.

Zoë and Dodge are friends of mine, so I already knew a lot of the people walking through the field that day. It made the whole wedding feel more like getting to document a giant reunion than showing up to work, which is one of my favorite kinds of weddings.

The other reason this one was so exciting? It happened at Sky Meadow in Randolph, New Hampshire…which is down the street from my house.

I’ve photographed weddings all over New England over the last 17 years, and I always joke that I’d love to shoot one close enough that I could walk there. This was that wedding. It was surreal walking down the road with my camera gear instead of my dog, Carter.

If you’ve never been to Sky Meadow, it’s one of those places that makes people immediately understand why I love living in the White Mountains.

Maybe I’m biased because Randolph is home, but I genuinely think it’s one of the prettiest places to get married in New Hampshire. If you’re looking for a wedding venue in the White Mountains that has incredible mountain views without feeling over-the-top, it’s definitely worth checking out.
